Mike is an experienced land surveyor, photogrammetrist, and GIS professional with over 30 years of geospatial experience. A licensed surveyor who holds active Surveying/Photogrammetry registrations in 26 states Mike has experience in all facets of geospatial work including collecting, processing, and reviewing aerial imagery, lidar, and traditional geospatial Surveying data. As the National Geospatial Program Director for GPI Geospatial, Inc (GPI), Mike is responsible for leading teams in the execution of projects for local, state, federal, DOT, and private clients as well as setting corporate policies for operations, production, and business management.
Mike is a member of Florida’s State Board of Professional Surveyors & Mappers and is a long-standing member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) where he currently Chairs the Evaluation for Certification Committee, overseeing the organization’s certification program. He has previously served as a member of the ASPRS Standards Committee responsible for establishing the 2014 ASPRS Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data. He has also served as the Director of the Professional Practice Division and an ASPRS Board member. Mike has presented numerous technical seminars at universities and community colleges, as well as at industry conferences, and has served as an expert witness in boundary litigation cases in the state of Florida.
