Mads Christensen is an experienced project manager and remote sensing specialist in DHI Water & Environment. He graduated with an M.Sc. degree (2012) in geography from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and another M.Sc. degree (2019) in Geoinformatics from Aalborg University, Denmark with a core specialization in remote sensing. As a technical expert and project manager he has close to 10 years professional experience from the private sector, NGO’s and international organizations, working on various issues related to technology innovation and development of policy support tools to underpin informed decision making on sustainability and biodiversity issues. As part of DHI's data and analytics unit, he works to advance the application and innovation of satellite technology to address global water and sustainability challenges by delivering operational insights on dynamic environments worldwide.
