Keith Leung

Keith Leung received his Ph.D. in 2012 from the University of Toronto, where his research focused on state estimation, field robotics, and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) for multi-robot applications. From 2012 to 2016, he completed a post-doc fellowship at the Advanced Mining Technology Center, Universidad de Chile, where he examined the use of SLAM technology for mining applications. In 2016, Keith joined Trimble’s Applanix division. He is currently an Engineering Manager in the Trimble Autonomous Solutions group, responsible for developing SLAM, sensor fusion, and perception technologies for off-road autonomy applications.
