Kabita Paudel is a Research Associate with the Geospatial and Environmental Science Research Team at Kentucky State University’s College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources. Her work encompasses multiple grant projects focusing on geospatial research, climate change, and environmental studies. Kabita also plays a pivotal role in teaching GIS and Remote Sensing classes. She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Studies specializing in GIS and Remote Sensing from KSU, along with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Nepal’s Agriculture and Forestry University. Kabita’s contributions were recognized with the first-place award in the graduate student scholarship category at the KY GIS Conference 2022. Originally from Nepal, Kabita finds joy in traveling and delving into enriching books.
