John leads the effort to discover, create and optimize new technology for Walbridge. He leads implementation efforts, directs and provides training. John identifies, researches, recommends, implements, and optimizes technology solutions that have value across his entire organization as well as addressing needs specific to our clients. His recent efforts include development of RFID tracking technologies for material, equipment and assets; integration with IoT devices and systems with super models and improving the experience of building occupants that integrate with technology. He is credited for devising the first 5D model used for estimating for our industry in 1985. Ray traced an ice palace that won a Progressive architecture award and made the Guiness book of records. Led the team the at built the first long range radar station for the Great Lakes FAA/USAF and built the first super model for Ford's research park in Dearborn, MI. He has taught and was part of the faculty at Northwestern's MPM Program and hold's a patent on mobile computing technology (aka The Cadmobile). When he is not working he enjoys show water skiing with his family and friends.
