Farshad Mirshafiei serves as the CEO of Sensequake and has a Ph.D. in structural engineering from McGill University. He is a multi-skilled professional who has mastered the hybridized fundamentals of business development, combined with honed skills to go deep into specializations when required. He is an energetic entrepreneur with experience of building a startup from zero to multimillion-dollars in revenue. Being involved in product development, business strategies, sales, marketing, operations and managements he has unique tools and knowledge to make high-tech businesses flourish. During his leadership Sensequake technology has been used to assess many landmark structures across Canada such as Canada’s Parliament building and Thousands Island international bridge. Farshad is the recipient of the 2015-2016 William and Rhea Seath Award, the highest distinction award from McGill University for the best invention of the year, and the best startup award of 2017 in Montreal.
