Mr. Kunz is a Senior Project Manager with Kucera International, Inc.
He received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration (Policy Analysis) from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
Mr. Kunz has over 30 years of Aerial Survey, Photogrammetry and GIS Project Management and Sales and Marketing experience at the federal, state and local government levels and in private industry.
He has taught Automated Mapping and GIS courses at the community college level and has served as Adjunct Professor of GIS at the University of Pittsburgh. (International Management and Development Institute) at the University of Phoenix, Pittsburgh, PA Campus and is a Consultant and Professor at Harrisburg University Harrisburg, PA, assisting in the development of, and serving as an instructor of a “Remote Sensing” course.
Mr. Kunz is a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), a member of the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) and is a past President of ASPRS Eastern Great Lakes Region Chapter. Mr. Kunz serves on the Conference Committee of the ENERGIS Conference, and is Co-Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of The Management Association of Private Photogrammetric Surveyors (MAPPS).
He has been a regular contributing author to various industry publications focusing on GIS, Remote Sensing and Geospatial project management issues, co-authored and presented papers at ASPRS and often guest lecturers on GIS and geospatial related topics at major universities and at industry conferences.
