Dietmar Grimm is Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Sustainability Solutions at Trimble.
He is responsible for driving Trimble’s approach to strategic management and key One Trimble initiatives. This includes leading global systems change strategies in commercializing sustainability and carbon through the efficiency and productivity gains delivered by Trimble products across natural resources, construction, transportation and logistics, and related sectors.
Prior to Trimble, Dietmar worked at the Nature Conservancy, where he was responsible for creating distinct, country-specific conservation strategies and regional systems change approaches around the world. This included roles leading global strategy, integration of the China Program into global strategy, and most recently leading the Latin America Country Programs.
Based on his experience in China, Dietmar was also President of the Paulson Institute, where he worked with former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson to foster US and China relations through green development.
Dietmar founded his career in business working at McKinsey & Company in San Francisco, London, and Germany with a focus on corporate finance and marketing. He translated that experience to co-founding Redstone Strategy Group where he led clients on helping to achieve the highest social return on investment for foundations and non-governmental organizations in the areas of conservation and global development.
