Collin Collins is a recent graduate of Ohio University where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Minor in Mathematics.
At Ohio University Collin was a Distinguished Professor Scholarship Recipient, John E. Edwards Fellowship Recipientm and Dean’s Scholarship Recipient.
At Aerial Surveys International he serves as a vital bridge between the sales and technical teams. His engaging communications skills allows him to easily work with Aerial Surveys International’s prospective and existing clients to understand their missions, needs, challenges, design, and present tailored geospatial solutions to support the end-to-end pre-sales process.
His experience as a Research Intern, in Computational Condensed Matter Physics with the Dr. Castillo Research Group, Ohio University Athens, OH was focused on developing and running molecular dynamics simulations of supercooled diatomic liquids using high performance computing (HPC) resources at a supercomputer cluster to investigate dynamical heterogeneity in glass-formers. He has presented his research at major conferences such as 2025 American Physical Society (APS) Global Physics Summit, the 2024 and 2025 NQPI Research Session and OU Student Research Expo, the 2025 NQPI Seminar Series at Ohio University, and the 2025 ASPRS Eastern Great Lakes Region Summer Meeting
His understanding of remote sensing, GIS technologies, LiDAR, and analytics, combined with his work experience in the aerial industry provide him with a solutions-customer-focused mindset making him an invaluable asset to the geospatial industry.
