Brett is a Spatial Data Scientist based in Melbourne, Australia. He brings a combined background in surveying and data analysis to his work with Mobile LiDAR data at Jacobs ANZ Digital Solutions.
After starting his career in surveying, Brett’s interest in data analysis grew alongside the company’s focus on Mobile LiDAR. He further developed his programming skills during COVID lockdowns, solidifying his expertise in LiDAR data analysis.
Brett leverages his diverse skillset across various Mobile LiDAR Scanning projects. He has experience in all stages of the project lifecycle, encompassing data capture, processing, quality control, and analysis. His focus lies in maximizing the value extracted from point clouds, adhering to the “capture once, use many times” principle.
