Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) is one of the hottest upcoming topics in reality capture, however, most people misunderstand the technology. Is it good for making 3D models? Is the data georeferenced? Is it accurate? In this presentation, we will explain what the technology is and why it matters to geospatial professionals. We will end the presentation with steps on how to get started with creating your own NeRFs.
