For civil engineering, power, and utilities projects, the facilities involved are large, complex, and safety-critical. Data collected about these facilities, including reality capture and as-built documentation, needs to be accurate, usable and readily accessible. 3D Data Collection to Project Delivery: Best Practices. We will walk through the historical aspects of data collection, processing and final base mapping for linear projects.
